The European aircraft manufacturer Airbus delivered 2020 commercial aircraft to customers in September 57. Compared to August (39 units) and July (49 units), considerably more machines were handed over. However, it was not possible to land a single new order, but instead received cancellations for A220 jets.
According to Airbus, there are currently 145 completed aircraft standing around that have not yet been handed over to customers. The reason for this is that many customers want to take their orders later. The aircraft manufacturer hopes that the "inventory" can be reduced to at least 100 units by the end of the year.
