The US aircraft manufacturer Boeing delivered ten commercial aircraft in September 2020. At the same time - just like Airbus - it was not possible to land a single new order. However, three more cancellations were received for the 737-Max model.

According to the manufacturer, three Boeing 787-9s were handed over to United Airlines, two more to Turkish Airlines and one to the Lessor Aercap. A 787-10 was delivered to Eva Air. Lufthansa Cargo took over a Boeing 777F, FedEx a 767-300F and UPS a 747-8F.

In the first nine months of the current year, Boeing handed over a total of 98 commercial aircraft to customers. The corona pandemic shows clear traces, because in a direct comparison with the same period of the previous year, deliveries fell by more than two thirds.

There were again setbacks for the aircraft manufacturer in the area of the Max program. Three orders were officially canceled in September 2020. However, Boeing cut 48 more from the pipeline due to financial uncertainties. A total of 436 Boeing 737-Max have been canceled so far. With 570 other units, it is unclear whether the orders will ever be delivered.
