On Saturday, November 12, 2022, a flight attendant on Jet2 flight LS271 was severely sexually assaulted by a drunk passenger. Due to the humiliating incident, the captain decided to make an unscheduled landing in Nantes, France.

The Boeing 737-300, registration G-GDFG, was en route from Leeds Bradford to Alicante. A routine flight, actually, if it hadn't been for a drunk male passenger who molested a flight attendant. He is said to have grabbed the cabin worker's skirt and touched her accordingly against her will.

The captain was notified and decided that the male passenger who had sexually harassed the flight attendant should be removed immediately. Therefore, a stopover was made in Nantes and the French police took the drunk man away.
