The cargo airline announces Shannon as the latest addition to its global route network.

The first flight landed directly from Seattle in Shannon on June 9th. The weekly frequency will be on the Los Angeles-Seattle-Shannon-Luxembourg route, reinforcing the airline's transatlantic services. The launch of Shannon is an opportunity to meet growing customer demand and expand its presence in the British Isles, the company said in a press release.

“This new frequency is a welcome development for Cargolux to connect with its global customers and expand services in the region. Shannon is a thriving trade gateway and we look forward to building our partnerships in the region,” said Domenico Ceci, Cargolux Executive Vice-President Sales & Marketing.
