Alastair Hay-Campbell has been General Manager for the DA-CH region at Singapore Airlines since December 1, 2020. He succeeds Sy Yen Chen, who is moving to India in the same capacity. The new Germany-Austria-Switzerland boss has been working for the Star Alliance carrier in various positions since 2000.

Most recently, he was Senior Manager Commercial Planning in Singapore, where he set up a new department. “It is a great honor to lead our dedicated and experienced teams in Germany, Switzerland and Austria,” said Alastair Hay-Campbell. “I will continue to work closely with our industry partners and our sales teams to help implement new strategies that will support our brand in these challenging times and expand our presence in the marketplace. The exceptional circumstances for the aviation industry are extremely challenging, but I am optimistic that together we will overcome this difficult period and emerge even stronger to build Singapore Airlines' impeccable reputation and achieve compelling results, ”said Hay-Campbell .
