Due to the corona pandemic, the shipping company Tui Cruises had severely reduced or partially suspended the offer in the Asian region. After a break of almost three years, the "Mein Schiff 5" sets sail again from Singapore.

14-day cruises are offered that have their starting point in the city-state. Only recently has this the entry and quarantine regulations have been greatly relaxed. Tui Cruises is one of the first European providers to offer Asia cruises again.

Initially, it is planned that six 14-day trips should be offered. These should lead, among other things, along the coasts of Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand. For 2023, the aim is for the Asia offer to gradually reach the pre-crisis level again.
