Singapore is easing entry restrictions for travelers who are not fully vaccinated. As of August 29, the seven-day quarantine for this group of people will be completely abolished. At the same time, the obligation to apply for an entry permit is also lifted.
Anyone who wants to travel to Singapore from August 29 and is not fully vaccinated against the corona virus will no longer have to go into a seven-day quarantine from then on. For this group of people, however, it is necessary to present a negative corona test. The test must be completed within two days of departure for Singapore. Both PCR tests and antigen tests carried out by trained personnel are recognised.
In addition to the abolition of the quarantine for travelers who are not fully vaccinated, the requirement to apply for an entry permit to Singapore will also be lifted on August 29. Until then, however, persons aged 13 and over who are not fully vaccinated and are coming to the Asian country for a short-term visit must still obtain an entry permit. However, this is only granted for compelling reasons, such as serious illness of family members. This is reported by Check 24.
