Skyguide continues to receive grants for activities abroad

The Swiss air traffic control company Skyguide will continue to receive government grants for activities carried out outside the Confederation. In these countries, the fees to be paid by airlines are lower than in Switzerland.

Some regions in Germany, Austria and Italy are affected. For example, the Lake Constance region is also regulated by Skyguide on the German and Austrian side. Up to and including 2027, the Swiss government wants to compensate for the lower income with up to 46 million euros per year. The situation should then be re-evaluated.
