The Ukrainian low-cost airline SkyUp will not start the non-stop connection between Lviv and Vienna-Schwechat announced in December 2021. The Borispil-Munich route is also affected.

The carrier originally announced that starting April 22, 2022, it would offer twice-weekly fly between Lviv and Vienna will. In addition to seasonal flights to Salzburg, it would have been the second destination in Austria. SkyUp will not take up this route for the time being and has now stopped selling it. No one commented on the exact reasons, but these are quite obvious due to the current situation. However, SkyUp plans to include Lviv-Vienna at a later date.

The same applies to the Kiev (Borispil)-Munich route. This should have been served three times a week from April 28, 2022. This connection has also been canceled for the time being and has been postponed indefinitely. The flights between Borispil and Berlin are not affected by the decision. These are to be offered twice a week from March 4, 2022.
