In the aftermath of the SkyWork bankruptcy, the former head of the company, Martin Inäbnit, has now been exonerated by the Bern-Mittelland bankruptcy office. A detailed examination showed that there were no indications of improper conduct. In the summer of 2018, the carrier surprisingly filed for bankruptcy.

For almost two years, the insolvency administration examined the conduct of the former regional airline and came to the conclusion that there were no indications of improper conduct on the part of Chairman of the Board of Directors Martin Inäbnit. Therefore, the request has now been made that any claims for damages against the management will be waived. This emerges from a letter to the approximately 1.000 SkyWork creditors.

There are currently 1,8 million Swiss francs in the bankruptcy estate. These are primarily intended to be used to pay off the wage claims of the staff and the associated social security costs. The remaining creditors should receive a seven percent quota. According to the Berner Zeitung, a former employee (claim: 10.000 francs) and the lessor Jetstream Aviation (claim: 650.000 francs) have appealed against the distribution plan. At the landlord, however, a solution should emerge, because according to the media report, the Saab 2000 spare parts store should be awarded.

SkyWork Airlines had to file for bankruptcy in the summer of 2018. The airline was considered ailing, but was able to recover financially. Among other things, the company was granted a subordinated loan of ten million Swiss francs a few months before the bankruptcy. This is also disputed, because the believer could possibly go completely empty-handed. At the time of filing for bankruptcy, SkyWork is said to have had cash and cash equivalents of 2,36 million Swiss francs. On the other hand, there were liabilities of 29 million Swiss francs, which is why the management has filed for bankruptcy due to over-indebtedness.
