The history of the insolvent airline Adria Airways is drawing to a close, because the responsible civil aviation authority is not extending the AOC. In January of the previous year, this was sold to a new company at a price of 45.000 euros.
So far, Air Adriatic, behind which a well-known fruit wholesaler stands, has not managed to get into the air. The AOC would actually have expired in September 2020, but the Slovenian civil aviation authority granted a delay due to the corona pandemic. Now there is no longer any extension. If Air Adriatic wants to take off commercially, the approval process must be repeated.
