The EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg has offspring: Smartlynx opened a new base at the airport a few days ago and will be operating holiday flights for Tui Germany in the future.

With flight 6Y616 to Rhodes, the airline took off on June 5 at 6:10 a.m. in its season as the new airline at EuroAirport. The carrier offers holiday flights and tourist destinations around the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands for Tui Germany. The new base in Switzerland will be occupied by an Airbus A320 aircraft. According to the company's own information, the relocation will create up to 20 jobs.
