South African Airways is looking for four more Airbus A320-200s to be leased on a “Power by the Hour” basis. The carrier recently published a corresponding tender.

The corona pandemic finally missed the rest of the once state-owned airline. Flight operations had to be completely stopped and bankruptcy declared. Investors have taken over South African Airways and brought it back into the air on a much smaller scale. With the help of four Airbus A320 you want to get back on course for growth.

The carrier is interested in offers for machines that are available at short notice. According to the present tender, the intention is to take delivery of the first unit as early as June 2023. It is also envisaged that monthly fixed leasing rates may also be offered as an alternative to hourly payment.
