World2Fly, the newly founded airline of the Spanish travel group Iberostar, will shortly be flying the first Airbus A330-300. This has the serial number 1097 and is registered as EC-LXR, reports CH-Aviation.com.

In December 2020, the group announced that it would operate brand-new Airbus A350s in the future. However, no information was given as to whether these were obtained directly from the manufacturer or via a leasing company. World2Fly is primarily intended to fly on behalf of the tour operator Iberostar. At the beginning, the focus is on destinations in Latin America and the Caribbean.
