The new air poster 2021 from Stuttgart Airport is now available. The large-format picture is taken every year and shows the 400 hectare site with the runway, the terminals and air freight buildings. Parts of the neighboring communities are also shown.

From year to year you can see how the airport and the surrounding area are developing. The current photo clearly shows a large construction site on the apron directly in front of Terminal 1. There, the concrete ceiling of the taxiways and parking positions is being renewed, a project in which a different area is tackled every year. In the course of this successive renewal, part of the runway was renewed in the previous year - this was clearly visible on the 2020 aerial photo poster.

The large construction site on the Messepiazza for the long-distance train station at the airport can also be clearly seen. The second stairway to the future train station will be built next to the P 14 multi-storey car park. The future ICE route is already emerging north of the A8 motorway. The U6 tram, which has been extended from Fasanenhof to the airport, is almost finished; the final stop is right next to the International CongressCenter of Messe Stuttgart (ICS). The first U2021 trams will stop at the airport from the end of 6.

The colored aerial photo is around 85 x 58 centimeters and can be picked up free of charge at the reception desk of the airport company (SkyPort, Flughafenstrasse 32, 70629 Stuttgart, Monday to Thursday from 8.00 a.m. to 16.00 p.m. and Fridays from 8.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon). For dispatch by post, orders are to be sent to publications@stuttgart-airport.com possible.
