An additional rapid corona test station has been available at Salzburg Airport since Wednesday evening. The city placed a container in front of Terminal 2, which is mainly used for charter flights. Passengers, employees and anyone else who would like to come can be tested here.

According to a statement from the city administration, the offer is primarily aimed at employees who need a 3G ID at short notice. But it is open to everyone. These are so-called "monitored self-tests" which, according to the current regulations, count as 3G proof. Some countries also recognize rapid antigen tests for entry.

The test station is open from Monday to Friday between 17:00 p.m. and 22:00 p.m. and on weekends and public holidays from 12:00 p.m. to 18:00 p.m. There is a pre-registration below salzburg-testet.at necessary. This test center is also supported by 35 people from the Salzburg volunteer fire brigade, who help out in turn.
