PC-24 - the Pilatus Jet Setter
The current PC-24 fleet, which is used in a wide variety of areas such as passenger transport, charter flights or also for ambulance flights, has grown to over 120 aircraft. The PC-24 differs from all other business jets in that it already has a cargo door as standard and a spacious cabin. In addition, the seat configuration can be quickly adapted to individual needs, according to the company.
The version of the PC-12 NGX, the PT6E-67XP, has an electronic propeller and motor control system for the first time. In addition to the higher cruising speed, lower cabin noise and reduced operating costs made possible by the new PT6 engine of the E series, the NGX offers a new interior. The automatic throttle control, the so-called “autothrottle”, is intended to reduce the workload of the pilot and increase the efficiency and service life of the engine.
Certified for sustainable fuel
Both the PC-12 and the PC-24 are now certified for Sustainable Fuel. “This is an important first step in aviation. By far the best way to reduce emissions, however, is to use less fuel. This is the basic philosophy behind the design of our single engine turboprop aircraft. Large jet operators could also conduct the majority of their flights with a PC-12 and use up to 75 percent less fuel. This is another huge opportunity that Pilatus now has! ”Said Bucher.
