As of October 1st, Stefan Baumert will be the new CEO of Tui Deutschland GmbH.

The 47-year-old will be the CEO of Tui Deutschland GmbH and will be responsible for the tour operator business in the Central Region with the markets of Germany, Austria, Poland and Switzerland, the group announced on Monday. Baumert succeeds Marek Andryszak, who will give up his duties at Tui at the end of the current financial year on September 30th.

“I am very pleased that with Stefan Baumert an experienced manager from our own ranks is moving to the top of Tui Germany. In his previous role, he actively promoted the transformation; he knows the market, the group and his colleagues trust him. These are very good prerequisites for the future of TUI Deutschland and our mutual success, ”said David Burling, Board Member for Markets and Airlines of the Tui Group, responsible for the tour operator in the Tui Group.
