With Stefan Herth, Vereinigung Cockpit has a new president. The members have elected the 15-member board of directors, which is now headed by Herth. Due to the pandemic, the election was conducted online for the first time.

"Together with my team and all members of the Vereinigung Cockpit we will now quickly and actively tackle the necessary adjustment processes in the VC", said Stefan Herth after his election. “We will realign the cooperation between the collective bargaining committees and the board of directors, make decisions more transparent and thereby create new trust. Many companies are moving further and further away from the social partnership that was much touted in the past. Here, too, we will start and strengthen the recognition of our work as pilots at airlines and in society. With our team, a mix of creativity and inventiveness, combined with experience and networks from over 25 years of work as employee representatives in many committees, we are facing new tasks and great challenges ”.
