The Icelandic airline Play plans to fly from Stuttgart to Reykjavik from the beginning of June 2022.

The state capital will then head to the island twice a week. The almost four-hour flights leave Stuttgart on Mondays and Fridays. The airline, founded in 2021, currently connects a total of 16 European cities with its base at Reykjavik International Airport (KEF). The fleet includes three Airbus A321neo with particularly economical and quiet engines. Next spring, Play will add new aircraft to its fleet and add flights to North America.
