Three Antonov An-32P cargo planes picked up relief supplies for Ukraine at Stuttgart-Echterdingen Airport on Friday. It is urgently needed material for fire brigades and civil protection.

The campaign was organized by the Fellbach fire brigade (Waiblingen district), which had procured relief supplies from all over Baden-Württemberg in a state-wide campaign. Among other things, pumps, high-voltage generators and an extinguishing robot for special operations and other materials for firefighting and rescuing people were loaded.

“This is a great, solidary commitment. It shows that we stand with the people of Ukraine." In order to support the campaign, the airport, in consultation with the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Transport, has enacted the usual landing and handling fees,” says Winfried Hermann, Baden-Württemberg Minister of Transport.
