Due to the increasing number of passengers, Stuttgart-Echterdingen Airport is putting the check-in areas of Terminal 1 back into operation. Terminals 1 and 3 are now available for check-in and passenger controls.

Stuttgart expects that by the end of August 2020 the number of airlines flying to the airport will increase from around 20 to over 30. The most popular destination will be Palma de Mallorca. The airlines operating from Stuttgart have announced up to 72 round trips per week.
