Stuttgart-Echterdingen Airport has a second managing director in Ulrich Heppe. He succeeds Arina Freitag, who left the company at her own request. Heppe took up his new position on Tuesday.
“Air traffic is facing major challenges and has to cope with the serious consequences of the corona pandemic. At the STR, we expect a strong catch-up effect for air travel, for which we have to prepare ourselves operationally and organizationally. The long-time managing director Walter Schoefer will continue to be at the helm of Stuttgart Airport. He is responsible for the non-aviation business and acts as spokesman for the management and labor director.
