Last Wednesday, the ABTA Business Travel Day 2024 took place at the Novotel Vienna Hauptbahnhof, bringing together around 150 representatives of the business travel industry from all over Austria.

The Austrian Business Travel Association (ABTA) offered participants a platform to discuss current market developments and the future of business travel. Top-class speakers such as AUA CCO Michael Trestl and Jens Schließmann, Managing Director of the German association VDR, addressed developments in aviation, sustainability and artificial intelligence.

The main topics of the event were the mobility of the future, the "EU AI Act" and the role of artificial intelligence in various industries. New technologies in the hotel sector and sustainable business travel were also in focus. ABTA President Roman Neumeister emphasized the importance of cooperation within the industry. The next ABTA event will take place on October 10, 2024 in Salzburg.
