On March 14, 2023, two Wizz Air Airbus A320s made an unpleasant acquaintance at Suceava Airport in Romania. One of the two machines collided with the tail unit of a parked identical aircraft with the wing tip while taxiing.

The 9H-WBV, operated by Wizz Air Malta, was to make its way towards Dortmund. However, this did not happen initially, because the left wing tip hit the right tail unit of the HA-LZW, which was parked at the time. The latter aircraft is operated by Wizz Air Hungary.

The process was filmed by a passenger on board 9H-WBV. From the video embedded below, it can be seen that the pilots of the A320 operated by Wizz Air Malta noticed the mishap immediately.
