On behalf of the Austrian tour operators Springer and Rhomberg, the German airline Avanti Air will serve some holiday destinations from Graz and Klagenfurt in the 2022 summer flight schedule. The carrier will also be active from Memmingen.

Avanti Air has ended its excursion into the world of jets, because last year it parted with the last regional jet of the type Fokker 100. Instead, it's "back to the roots", because it's becoming a turboprop operator again. This time, however, the focus is not on the ATR72, but on the competitor model de Havilland Dash 8-400. Avanti Air wants to operate three units.

On the traffic days Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the German airline will work from Graz for the tour operators Springer Reisen and Rhomberg Reisen. Dash 8-400 turboprop aircraft are used. Avanti Air confirmed that the program is scheduled to run from May 27, 2022 to October 2, 2022.

On Fridays, Avanti Air's Dash 8-400 will depart from Graz and fly to Skiathos. From the Greek destination it then goes to Klagenfurt, back to Skiathos and then to Graz. The charter flights are operated for Springer Reisen.

On Saturdays, Avanti Air flies from Graz to Paros and then on to Mykonos. From there it goes to Klagenfurt. From the Carinthian airport, the Dash 8-400 flies first to Paros and then back to Graz with a stopover in Mykonos. The stops on the island of Mykonos have technical reasons, because according to Avanti Air there is no fuel available at Paros airport, which is why you have to refuel on the neighboring island before returning to Austria. The charter flights are operated for Springer Reisen.

The Sunday traffic day starts again in the Styrian state capital. The first flight goes to Calvi on the island of Corsica. From there Avanti Air flies to Memmingen, back to Calvi and then back to Memmingen. These charter flights are operated on behalf of Rhomberg Reisen.

Charter flight schedule at a glance:

  • VT 5: GRZ-JSI-KLU – JSI – GRZ
  • VT 6: GRZ - PAS - JMK (because no fuel in PAS) - KLU - PAS - JMK - GRZ
  • VT 7: GRZ -CLY - FMM- CLY - FMM
  • Period: May 27, 2022 to October 2, 2022

Accordingly, Styrian passengers remain in Corsica or have to end their vacation in Memmingen... ?!?

The flight schedule was sent to us by Avanti Air.

all right, that is to be understood in the profile as in-depth research..!

A small note: The tour operators also have another airline under contract. Their routing is not final yet, but it will go home with this one.

    it remains exciting...
This information would represent a rounding off and factually conclusive journalistic background information...

hmmm, home on a different airline…?! Which then flies only one way and then at the destination...?
Unfortunately, no organizer can confirm this 'research' claim...!
