"Frankfurt is being examined": we can already say that nothing will come of it. Why??? Nobody can stand to hear the phrases "the importance of the airport for the economy" etc. anymore. Why do the owners stand by and do nothing when the airport could bring in a lot of money into the empty coffers? It is repeatedly stressed that most guests from Germany come to Tyrol and like to book at short notice and for shorter periods... In summer there are no flights to and from Germany! In winter we don't know how we will get the workers, and in summer we have to throw them out again because of poor capacity utilization. Where is targeted, success-oriented and profitable marketing? Selling passenger numbers like we last had 15 years ago as a "success" is actually quite ironic.
