Danish airline Sunclass has taken delivery of its first Airbus A330-900. The approximately 1,7-year-old machine was transferred to Shannon in Full White on September 16, 2022. There the long-haul jet is to be prepared for scheduled service.
Originally, the OY-VKO should have gone to XL Airways France or Starlux Airlines. However, it never came to that. Sunclass Airlines leases this Airbus A330-900 from Air Lease Corporation. It is currently not planned that machines from the previous model, the A330ceo, should be phased out in return.
On request, the carrier explained, among other things, that the new addition should be used for the announced growth. Sunclass Airlines was formerly known as Thomas Cook Airlines Scandinavia. Shortly after the collapse of the travel group, this airline was taken over by investors and given its current brand name.
