The German holiday airline Sundair will be offering a seasonal connection to the Portuguese island of Funchal from October 25, 2022 from Berlin-Brandenburg. This is served on the Tuesday service day.

Sundair flight SR1324 will leave the German capital's airport at around 9:00 a.m. and arrive in Funchal at 12:50 p.m. The return flights will be operated as SR1325. The planes of the holiday airline are scheduled to leave Madeira Island at around 13:40 p.m. The landings in Berlin will take place around 19:00 p.m.

According to Sundair, the new route between Berlin-Brandenburg and Funchal will be served with medium-haul Airbus A320 jets. It is currently a seasonal route that will be offered during the 2022/23 winter timetable. A final decision has not yet been made on a possible continuation in summer 2023.

Sundair launches new image video

The German holiday airline recently published a new image video on YouTube. The production team, which was commissioned by Sundair, accompanied a crew on the Kassel-Rhodes-Heraklion-Kassel route. The eight-minute film showing some impressive footage is embedded below.
