The Dutch tour operator Sunweb Group will operate numerous charter flights from the German regional airport of Weeze in the summer of 2023. The background is also that the ticket tax in the Federal Republic is lower.

“Weeze is easily accessible for the southern, central and eastern Netherlands. In addition to bookings from the classic Dutch airports, we are seeing increasing demand for departures from German and regional airports. We have therefore decided to include Weeze in our program for the 2023 summer season,” says Mattijs ten Brink, CEO of the Sunweb Group. Passengers should benefit from a cost advantage of up to 60 euros per person.

From April 2023, Skyexpress will serve Rhodes, Kos, Zakynthos and Crete (Heraklion) all year round. In the high season, two weekly circulations are planned. In addition, charter flights operated by Freebird and SunExpress to Antalya and Bodrum will be launched.
