Swiss appoints Julia Hillenbrand as the new Head of Brand Experience

The Head of Brand Experience is responsible for and, together with her team, takes care of the strategic roadmap for all customer, product and marketing topics at Swiss.

Born in Germany, she takes over the position from Caroline Drischel, who became Head of Corporate Responsibility at the Lufthansa Group on April 1, 2022.

“Thanks to her many years of marketing and commercial experience within the Lufthansa Group, Julia Hillenbrand is the ideal person for this important function. I am convinced that with her profound know-how she will continue to successfully develop our attractive and successful Swiss brand. I am very much looking forward to working with Julia Hillenbrand and I wish her every success in her new position,” commented Swiss-CCO Goudarzi Pour on this appointment.

Hillenbrand can look back on various positions in her long career within the Lufthansa Group. She has been Senior Director of Marketing & Sales in Spain and Portugal since 2019 and throughout Western Europe since 2021. From 2016 to 2019 she was in Singapore as Director Sales Product & Programs Asia Pacific and from 2014 to 2016 Head of Marketing & Pricing for Swiss in London, where she successfully strengthened the brand positioning. Other positions in the Lufthansa Group included activities in the areas of Business Optimization & Network Planning, Business Development and Marketing & Sales.
