Earlier this week, the airline Swiss christened the Airbus A220-100 with the registration HB-JBF the name "Viamala". The first flight from Zurich-Kloten to Dresden was under this baptismal name.

To mark the company's 20th anniversary, Swiss is giving a total of 20 Airbus A220-100/-300 aircraft the names of well-known tourist destinations in Switzerland. A competition was held last year. Gradually the aircraft christenings are carried out. Among other things, Viamala was able to win, which is why the HB-JBF now bears the name of this region.
