Graz had to wait a long time, but on Monday the time had finally come: Swiss reactivated the hub connection to the Zurich hub. Flights will initially be on Monday and Friday traffic days. Sometimes there are also flights on Thursdays.

"In addition to Frankfurt, Vienna, Amsterdam and Munich, we now offer Zurich as a fifth important transfer airport," says Wolfgang Grimus, Managing Director of Graz Airport. "Our passengers can thus adapt their trips in the worldwide network of the Lufthansa Group even more flexibly to their needs".

The Airbus A220-100/300 operated by Swiss and the Embraer E190-E2/E195-E2 operated by Helvetic Airways are used operationally. These types are currently considered state of the art on short-haul routes. The latter airline is using for the first time this year enter the E195-E2 for Swiss.
