A few weeks ago, the airline Swiss and the flight attendant union Kapers agreed on a new collective labor agreement. This was publicly criticized by some employees. Now the agreement has been rejected by 65 percent of the members.

As a result, the negotiated CLA cannot come into force as planned and the old contract from 2015 continues. 2.299 Kapers members who fly for Swiss from Geneva and Zurich were entitled to vote. It is currently not foreseeable how the union and Swiss will react to the defeat.
