On February 1, 2021, the airline Swiss will have a new head of technology in the form of Claus Bauer. He succeeds Peter Wojahn, who will retire on January 31, 2021. The maintenance area of the Lufthansa subsidiary has around 1.000 employees.

“We are very pleased that in Claus Bauer we have been able to win an experienced technology expert for this demanding position. He has the necessary know-how to be able to act quickly and flexibly even in times of crisis, ”says Swiss boss Thomas Klühr, who will be leaving the company at the end of the year. “During his time at Swiss, Peter Wojahn developed and expanded the technology area with great entrepreneurial persuasiveness, so that SWISS is now seen across the industry as a prime example of an airline with integrated technology operations. On behalf of the entire management, I would like to thank him for his extraordinary commitment over many years and wish him all the best in his well-deserved retirement ”.
