Swiss will resume flights to Tel Aviv at the end of September 2025

The Swiss airline Swiss will resume its flight operations after Tel Aviv from 29 September 2025. A daily connection with a Airbus A330 under flight number LX252. This decision follows a reassessment of the situation after the route was temporarily suspended in mid-June of this year.

In mid-June, Swiss decided to suspend its service to Tel Aviv until the end of its summer schedule at the end of October. This was done to ensure operational stability and predictability of flight operations, as the situation in the region made reliable flight operations difficult. The recent reassessment of the circumstances has shown that an earlier resumption of flights is possible and sensible. Airlines regularly adjust their flight schedules based on the geopolitical situation and security assessments to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.

The reintroduction of daily flights to Tel Aviv underscores the importance of this route for Swiss and the connection between Switzerland and Israel. The connection is important for both business and leisure travelers and contributes to maintaining the air bridge. The use of a wide-body aircraft such as the Airbus A330 on this route indicates expected high demand and offers corresponding capacity.

Independently of the resumption of the Tel Aviv connection, Swiss had previously announced that it would suspend flights to Beirut in Lebanon as planned from August 3, 2025. This reflects a gradual stabilization of flight services across the region, conditions permitting. Airlines continue to closely monitor the situation in the Middle East and adjust their operations accordingly.
