In the course of this year, the Lufthansa subsidiary Swiss will bring the remaining Airbus A330 and A320 machines, which are currently still parked in Jordan, back to Switzerland and bring them back to scheduled operations.

These are three A320s and three A330s. These have not been used commercially since the start of the Corona pandemic. The six aircraft are currently in long-term storage in Jordan. Swiss boss Dieter Vranckx explained to the Aargauer Zeitung that the machines should be put back into regular service in the course of this year. Swiss would then have reactivated the entire fleet. Excluded from this are those aircraft that have generally been phased out. An example of this is the HB-IOC.
