With immediate effect, Switzerland requires all passengers arriving by air to submit a negative PCR result. This must be presented to the ground staff before boarding. Otherwise, carriage may be refused.

People who want to enter the country from so-called risk areas must also present the findings upon entry. A ten-day quarantine must then be started. "Free testing" is possible after seven days at the earliest using a PCR or antigen test. The PCR results required for entry may not be older than 72 hours.
