Switzerland: New Swissport GAV comes into force on January 1, 2023

The Swiss ground handling service provider Swissport accepted the collective labor agreement negotiated with three unions on September 28, 2022. This applies to employees in the Confederation and will come into force on January 1, 2023.

Swissport announced that they had examined the new CLA extensively and came to the conclusion that the agreement would be accepted. This was negotiated with the unions VPOD, SEV-Gata and KVMV. The term of the new collective employment agreement is four years and provides for higher wages for employees.
