Eurowings Discover operated the first passenger flight to the United States of America on December 4, 64 under flight number 16Y2021. After around ten hours of flight time, the Airbus A330 landed in Tampa Bay.

According to the carrier, the connection was "almost fully booked". There is also “good demand” on this route. With immediate effect, four weekly frequencies to Tampa Bay are in the flight schedule. From the summer flight schedule of 2022, there will also be six more destinations in America: Fort Myers, Las Vegas (from March 2022 also from Munich), Salt Lake City, Anchorage, Halifax and Calgary.

Eurowings Discover was already on its way to the USA on Sunday (December 12.12.2021th, 14.12.2021) and Tuesday (December 40th, 330) - with XNUMX tons of freight instead of passengers, an Airbus XNUMX took off from Frankfurt to Atlanta.

The Eurowings Discover flight schedule currently consists of nine long-haul destinations and five short- and medium-haul destinations. The fleet consists of the aircraft types Airbus A330 and A320.
