In the coming year, the Austrian Ministry of Defense intends to host the Airpower flight show again in Zeltweg, Styria. Minister Klaudia Tanner (ÖVP) presented some details on the Red Bull Ring on Monday.

“The visitors can get a first-hand impression of what our air forces are capable of. In the preparation phase and during the event itself, we will pay particular attention to sustainability during the planning phase and we will consider and implement the aspects of climate protection, environmental protection, sustainability and resource conservation in the organization. I know that together we can put together a great event that will inspire thousands of people. That is only possible as a team, ”said the member of the government.

It is expected that up to 300.000 visitors will come from all over the world. It is the tenth edition of this air show. The costs of the event will be shared equally by the Austrian Armed Forces and the partners State of Styria and Red Bull. After the world premiere could not take place in 2019 due to weather conditions, the viewers of Airpower22 can look forward to this special highlight. For the first time, a helicopter, an airplane and a skydiver will take off three elements for a choreography that could hardly be more different. You can see action-packed maneuvers that are only possible with the highest precision and perfect timing and that will delight the audience.
