El Al airline is consolidating its route network from Tel Aviv. At the end of the 2022 summer timetable period, two European destinations and one Canadian destination will be abandoned.

The connections to Warsaw, Brussels and Toronto will be discontinued. Among other things, the company justifies the decision by saying that it would adapt to the demand in the time “after Corona”. Recently, these three routes had not brought in the hoped-for proceeds.

El Al is in a remodeling phase after a change of ownership. The carrier suffered massively from the fact that Israel isolated itself for a long period of time during the corona pandemic. For a long time, non-citizens were only allowed to enter the country with a special permit, which was only granted for very important reasons. The El Al's passenger flight operations came to a standstill for a long time. The company could only be saved from bankruptcy with state aid and the sale.
