Ten aircraft are said to be parked at German airports at the beginning of the airspace closure for machines that are owned or controlled by Russia. Flying out is not possible due to the sanctions.
The editorial network Germany calls this number, citing the Federal Ministry of Transport. Nothing will change in the short term either, because the aircraft cannot be moved to another location due to the sanctions. In Leipzig/Halle three Antonov An-124 are said to be affected.
A Boeing 747 is affected in Frankfurt-Hahn. In Cologne/Bonn, a Bombardier Challenger 300 and a Boeing 737 are waiting for better times. In Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden, two Embraer Legacy 600, a Bombardier Global Express XRS and a Cessna 750 Citation X are affected. Leasing aircraft, which were formerly used by Aeroflot, for example, are not included.
