The Airbus A321 with the registration D-AEUA has continued its journey from Hamburg via Luqa and Muscat to Seletar (Singapore). There the passenger aircraft, which still carries the Air-Berlin-Laudamotion “Hybrid-Livery”, is converted into a freighter.

This medium-haul jet will then join the Lufthansa Cityline fleet as a cargo aircraft and will primarily be used on European routes as part of the Lufthansa Cargo network. The Kranich Group decided some time ago that it would rely on A321P2F conversion freighters in this segment.

The D-AEUA was previously in the air for Air Berlin. Later this A321 flew for Niki and laudamation as OE-LCG. This medium-haul jet has been parked in England since it was phased out by the Ryanair subsidiary, which is no longer an airline. The originally planned fleet entry at Eurowings was not implemented. The D-AEUA has not yet dropped the Air Berlin Laudamotion “Hybrid Livery”, but this will take place in the course of the conversion to a cargo aircraft.
