From 1 to 2 February 2025, the Bike Festival Austria will open its doors again and expects a large number of visitors at the Wels Exhibition Centre.
With an expanded and diverse offering, the event is not only intended to appeal to the domestic cycling scene, but also to attract cycling enthusiasts from neighboring countries. The organizers promise an unforgettable experience for every cycling fan, offering not only first-class testing opportunities but also an extensive supporting program.
brand diversity and innovations
The upcoming festival will feature around 70 renowned exhibitors, including top brands such as Specialized, Shimano and Haibike. These companies will use the platform to present their latest models and innovations.
The collaboration with ARGE Fahrrad and VSSÖ promises an even more comprehensive presentation of the world of cycling. Visitors can look forward to a wide range of e-bikes, mountain bikes, racing bikes, gravel bikes and cargo bikes. The range is complemented by high-quality accessories, modern cycling clothing and the emerging e-scooters, which have gained in popularity in recent years.
testing options indoors and outdoors
A standout feature of the festival is the opportunity for visitors to try out the latest bikes on a 500 m² indoor test track as well as on outdoor test tracks.
This interactive experience allows participants to test the handling of the different models under realistic conditions. This is a valuable opportunity, especially for potential buyers, to find the right bike for the coming season.
A supporting program for all
The festival's supporting program combines action with expertise. Exciting trial shows with spectacular stunts provide adrenaline kicks, while the Bikers Lounge is a place for exchanging knowledge. Workshops and lectures on topics such as safety, technology and cycling trips are offered here. Prominent guests, including the Floro Racing Team, will share their experiences from the legendary Race Across America and inspire the audience.
Another highlight is the integration of the trade fair trio, which also includes the Fishing Festival and the Archery Fair. With just one ticket, visitors can attend all three events, making the trade fair visit a unique experience for outdoor enthusiasts.
The importance of trade fairs for the outdoor community
On the same weekend, the Wels trade fair will also be the venue for the Fishing Festival and the Archery Fair. These synergies offer a comprehensive platform for outdoor fans to find out about current trends and innovations in the respective sports.
The Fishing Festival brings together renowned brands and experts to present the latest products to fishing fans. The archery fair offers exciting demonstrations and workshops that are suitable for both beginners and experienced athletes. For families, there is an extended program that is specifically aimed at children. This allows young visitors to immerse themselves in the world of outdoor activities in a playful way.
