Only four weeks after the sudden death of Heinz Hermann Thiele, there is clarity about his billion-dollar estate. This also seems to have clarified what will happen to the Lufthansa shares.

The entrepreneur contributed his 13 percent stake in the crane airline, which he only joined last year, to a family foundation in his will. That reports among other things reuters.com. The foundation and Thiele's daughter Julia Thiele-Schürhoff will in future also own 59 percent of Knorr-Bremse and 50,1 percent of Vossloh. Formally, Thiele's widow Nadia Thiele inherits first. The foundation is to be established by the end of the year.
