Tirana Airport and the National Disaster Management Authority will strengthen their cooperation in the future. The two parties finalized an agreement on Monday, which offers more extensive possibilities to intervene in the event of an emergency.

“Of course we all hope that there will be no accidents at the airport. But unfortunately that can never be ruled out. Thanks to closer cooperation with the National Disaster Control Authority, we can now react faster, more efficiently and more professionally and are well prepared for the future, ”said Constantin von Alvensleben, CEO of Tirana Airport. In the course of this, the first emergency exercises have already taken place on the airport premises.
