Spain is traditionally a popular holiday destination. With the Germans, Mallorca is again particularly popular this year. But just flying to “Malle” is no longer an option. There are a few things to consider.

First of all, the good news: Spain makes it comparatively easy for tourists and at the moment you don't need any test, vaccination or recovery certificates from many countries. Only a QR code has to be created in advance via the Internet. This is an electronic PLF form that is scanned by employees of the health authority when entering the country.

As of July 15, 2021, people from Germany and Switzerland can travel to Spain without any further requirements. In Austria this applies to all federal states, with the exception of Tyrol and Carinthia. Negative antigen or PCR tests, proof of complete vaccination or recovery must be submitted from the last-mentioned areas. You always need the QR code.

In the following video, which was recorded at Palma de Mallorca Airport, the current regulations for Germans, Austrians and Swiss are briefly explained and in particular tips are given on where to find the PLF form and on which homepage Spain provides entry information in many languages.
