Celebratory atmosphere at Tirana International Airport. The reason for this is a new flight connection.

FlyDubai will in future connect the Albanian capital airport with the world metropolis in the desert. The airline operates the route twice a week - on Thursdays and Sundays. A Boeing 737-800 is used for this. Tickets are available in economy class from 420 euros. For the first time, an airline is offering a direct flight between Albania and the United Arab Emirates.

This is not only good news for future flight passengers. Around 13:35 p.m. local time, a plane from Dubai landed in the Albanian capital for the first time. As a greeting, the fire brigade sprayed water fountains on the aircraft. “With the start of the first direct flight to Dubai, a new chapter begins for Tirana Airport. We are happy to be able to open up new markets in the most difficult times of the pandemic, ”said Blendi Klosi, Albanian Minister of Tourism and Environment.
