Pristina Airport has welcomed over two million passengers since the beginning of the year.

In August alone, a total of 371.246 travelers were handled - strong figures that the small capital city airport can present here. Nevertheless: The last record year could not be surpassed, but the airport was at least close. The bottom line is a decline of 3,3 percent compared to the record value of the previous year. However, an overall view of the year to date shows that the airport has been able to increase its passenger volume, as reported by the online portal Ex-Yu-Aviation. From January to August, exactly 2.062.756 travelers were handled at the only commercial airport in the youngest state in Europe, 42,9 percent more than in the previous year and 25,5 percent more than before the 2019 pandemic.
